The American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor Course 

certifies the participant to teach:

 

• BLS for Healthcare Providers Course

• Renewal courses 

• BLS skill sessions  

 

In addition, instructors may teach all the AHA Heartsaver programs including:

​Course price includes the BLS Instructor Part A & B as well as monitoring of your first class as required by the AHA. Once all the steps are successfully completed, the participant will become an American Heart Association BLS Instructor and be able to conduct classes on their own.   

The classroom portion covers American Heart Association procedures, course guidelines and agendas, instructor challenges, classroom set-up, learning theory, administrative support, and instructor-candidate teaching demonstrations.  Drinks and refreshments will be provided.
